Herbs and Spices

Fridal farms are located in stunning locations with sustainable and abundance water reserves and virgin soil where Fridal produces a range of aromatic and medicinal organic plants and herbs, Fridal also produces a range of Spices from various farms and areas in Egypt. The fertility of the soil and vast areas allows us to grow almost the full range of medicinal and aromatic herbs a large number of crops. The total farms areas is around 3,000 feddans of land designed to host agricultural, composting, industrial production and services areas. 

The fields are irrigated using the technologies of "Center Pivot system" and "Drip irrigation system", this prevents huge losses of water caused by the old traditional flood irrigation method earlier used all over Egypt. 

Most of the farm’s activities and land conditions are automatically monitored and controlled through a central master control room using sophisticated weather station and control systems that provide us with the results required to maintain a healthy and stable plant condition. 

After harvesting the plants and herbs are collected and sent to the drying factory where they are dried, packed and stored automatically without any direct human contact with the final product.

Within the main farm located about 350 kms from the capital Cairo, we built a fully equipped residential village hosting 500 people using materials from the surroundings and energy efficient architecture. This village is mostly operating on solar energy supply.
